HK Express, Hong Kong Airlines to launch more flights to Japan

Hong Kong-based carriers Hong Kong Airlines and budget airline HK Express recently announced new flights to two points in Japan – Shizuoka and Sendai.  

From December 17, HK express will launch the direct flights between Hong Kong and Shizuoka. The budget carrier will operate three weekly flights on the route (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday).

Shizuoka will be the third destination in Japan introduced by HK Express within the year following Hiroshima and Sendai. The airline offers flights to 11 points in the country.

The following day (December 18), Hong Kong Airlines will launch a new direct route to Sendai – the airline's ninth destination in Japan - with three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday).

Separately, Hong Kong Airlines will also increase its flights to Sapporo to daily and five-times daily to Tokyo-Narita.
